TIMES

TIMES stands for “Tournament In Management and Engineering Skills” and is the flagship project of ESTIEM. The Europe-wide case study competition has been successfully performed for over 15 years at the universities connected to ESTIEM. About 250 teams compete against each other every year, using their interdisciplinary skills in management and engineering in case studies which are close to reality. The teams will then present their solutions to the jury which will evaluate their results and decide who will be the winner.

The tournament is held in English and organized at three levels. After a Local Qualification at the home-university, the winners take part in one of the 6 Semi-Finals. During the Final the winners of the Semi Finals will finally compete for the title “IEM Students of the year”.

Every year Interactie organizes the Local Qualification for the University of Technology Eindhoven.

Around 30 to 40 students, placed in groups of 3 or 4, compete to win tickets for the Semi Final held in a different country.

Every few years Eindhoven is also hosting one of the Semi Finals.
